Developing a human-tiger conflict mitigation model for the benefit of the local communities and survival of tigers

This project seeks to reduce livestock loss due to tiger attacks and stop retaliatory killings of tigers by humans in key areas.

Working in the Jeli District in Kelantan; we are creating a model to reduce human-wildlife conflict. Activities include developing better management practices, awareness and education programmes for the local community and school children, as well as sustainable financing mechanisms to reduce long-term human-wildlife conflict.
